Report: Manchester United will confirm Mourinho hiring Friday

Football's worst-kept secret is a day from coming to fruition, as Jose Mourinho appears set to put pen to paper Friday, finalising his much speculated move to Manchester United.

BBC Sport's Dan Roan confirmed Friday's announcement on Twitter Thursday, a day after reports surfaced suggesting that Mourinho's image rights were a stumbling block between the two parties.

No word yet if Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be present for the mercurial manager's unveiling Friday.
