Ozil misses out on Manchester City clash with hip ailment

If Arsenal is to secure a Champions League berth with a victory over Manchester City, the Gunners will need to do so without their midfield maestro.
The club revealed that Premier League assist leader Mesut Ozil, who has set up 18 goals this season, will watch Sunday's contest at the Etihad from the sidelines.
Ozil sits two assists shy of the single-season record, set by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, but his absence in today's match means the German will only have the final day of the campaign - assuming he returns from the hip injury - to equal or surpass the Frenchman.
Victory on Sunday would guarantee Arsenal third place, and subsequently, a 20th consecutive season of Champions League football under embattled bench boss Arsene Wenger.
