Dutch youngster Tahith Chong confirms United move
Tahith Chong will trade his Feyenoord shirt for a Manchester United strip.
The Netherlands Under-17 international confirmed the move after revealing he had originally hoped to stay with the Eredivisie team until negotiations broke down over a new deal.
"It was my intention to stay at Feyenoord, but no plan was made for me," Chong revealed to Elf Voetbal, according to ESPN FC. "When I said I wanted to leave, they made a plan. That was too late."
"United gave me a better feeling. You can feel it immediately when you walk in a club."
The 16-year-old has attracted plenty of attention in the months leading up to the summer transfer window, with English clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City joining United in the pursuit of Chong.
United has yet to acknowledge a possible transfer for the versatile attacker.
