Jack Wilshere: Dinged Up, Plays On

Wilshere played the full 90 minutes against Coventry City on Friday, despite a minor lower-body tweak in the first half.

Analysis:

Wilshere appeared to take a shot to his knee or ankle, ultimately resting on the turf for a couple of minutes. The Gunners didn't think it was too serious, apparently - Wilshere was not summoned to the bench in the second half when Arsene Wenger began to make changes. Wilshere didn't factor in the scoring for the day (despite Arsenal notching four goals); he finished the match with two shots (both wide) and one yellow card. We're trained to hold our breath every time Wilshere encounters some turbulence, but he probably dodged serious harm in this instance.
