Alexander-Arnold's goal came a minute after Wataru Endo erased the Cottagers' advantage with a brilliant curling strike into the top corner.

With the win, Liverpool maintained their perfect home record and extended their winning streak at Anfield to 11 games.

The two late strikes were crushing blows for a Fulham side that looked destined to leave Merseyside with at least a point.

Marco Silva's men produced an admirable performance that had Liverpool on the ropes, in danger of dropping valuable points in the title race.

The first half ended 2-2 after the two teams traded goals, with Liverpool's coming off a pair of brilliant strikes from Alexander-Arnold, whose goal was later credited as an own goal to Bernd Leno after ricochetting off the Fulham goalkeeper, and Alexis Mac Allister.

Liverpool have fought back to win from losing positions four times this season in the Premier League. The Reds have also secured multiple draws courtesy of late goals this term.
