PSG take Moise Kean on loan from Everton
Paris Saint-Germain have secured Moise Kean's services short-term, signing the Italian forward from Everton on a season-long loan, the Ligue 1 holders announced Sunday.
The 20-year-old makes the switch from Merseyside to the French capital in a deal that doesn't include a purchase option for PSG.
Kean moves to Ligue 1 after an unpredictable debut campaign with Everton, following a €27.5-million move from Juventus. The five-time capped Italian international scored twice in 29 league outings and was dropped from the squad in Nov. 2019 for disciplinary reasons.
"I am really proud and happy to become a Paris Saint-German player. It is one of the best clubs in the world as shown by their Champions League campaign last season where they reached the final," Kean said.
"I am delighted to join such an ambitious club with such a strong reputation in my country. I look forward to playing alongside some of the best players in the world."
Kean joins the Parc des Princes' star-studded attack featuring Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Mauro Icardi, and should provide cover for departures Edinson Cavani and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
