Report: West Brom lodge bid worth potential £18M for Grady Diangana
West Bromwich Albion want to sign one of their promotion heroes on a permanent basis.
The Baggies have submitted an offer for the West Ham United winger that could rise to £18 million after add-ons, according to The Guardian's Jacob Steinberg.
Diangana, 22, scored eight goals over 30 Championship appearances during last season's loan spell at West Brom, and his subsequent preseason performances for West Ham have drawn admiration from players at his parent club.
"It's nice for us to have a kind of player like Grady. Everyone knows the quality he has, and then he went on loan to West Brom and everyone knows he performed pretty well," striker Sebastien Haller told West Ham TV after Diangana assisted him twice in last week's 4-1 friendly win over Ipswich Town.
"We are all happy to have him here and we are going to try to use his quality and strength, me most of all. Hopefully he will be giving me even more assists in the future."
West Ham could make a move for Brentford's Said Benrahma if they allow Diangana to leave the club, Steinberg reports.
