Imagine, then, his ire when Maurizio Sarri's second assistant coach, Marco Ianni, made a beeline for the United dugout to celebrate in front of the Portuguese boss and his staff.

It was a high-tension moment and produced some unsavory scenes at the final whistle. Mourinho's heated reaction may have risked further scrutiny from the Football Association - the 55-year-old is already facing a charge for allegedly making inappropriate comments on the touchline after his side's comeback win over Newcastle on Oct. 6.
