Bellerin: Arsenal 'more organized' under Emery than Wenger

For the first time since 1997, Arsenal kicks off the league campaign under the tutelage of a manager not named Arsene Wenger, and according to Hector Bellerin, the Gunners will be a "more organized" side under Unai Emery.

"Unai Emery is a bit more tactical. We are going to be more organized on the pitch and they are different philosophies that have worked for them both. We are getting used to it, working really hard, everyone is really excited," Bellerin offered, per ESPN FC.

Wenger's 22-year Arsenal tenure saw the club capture the Premier League on three occasions to go with a record seven FA Cups, but that celebrated legacy began to show signs of wear before the Frenchman's exit in May. Much of Arsenal's decline had been attributed to defensive lapses and poor results against the league's other heavyweights, foibles associated with Wenger and his training habits.

"The training has been way different," Bellerin continued. "We work on different things to how we did with the boss (Wenger). Both coaches have philosophies that are different. Arsene Wenger was a manager that led a lot of inspiration from the players. He gave you a lot of freedom."

Wenger handed the Spanish full-back his first-team debut in September 2013 against West Brom in the League Cup. Bellerin has gone on to make 124 league appearances for the club and was named to the PFA Team of the Year in 2015-16. For the first time since Mathieu Debuchy's move to the English capital in 2014, Bellerin will face competition at right-back after Arsenal signed Switzerland captain Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer.
