Chelsea's industrious midfielder N'Golo Kante has affirmed he is content with life in London and targeting further glories with the Blues, amid links to an end-of-season switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 26-year-old France international is one of PSG's primary summer transfer targets, according to Simon Johnson of the London Evening Standard, having developed into one of the world's top defensive midfielders during his time at both Stamford Bridge and, previously, Premier League-winning Leicester City.

But, speaking to Johnson, Kante insisted he isn't looking to move from Chelsea.

"I am at home. It is my club, I am a Chelsea player," Kante said. "This is my second year at Chelsea. After what happened last season, it was a very good one for us because we got to celebrate winning the title.

"In the second season, I have got to play in the Champions League and we are going again to finish in the top four.

"We will fight until the end to finish in the top four and to get in a Champions League position."

The Blues currently sit fifth in the Premier League, five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham with eight matches remaining, but were recently eliminated from the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona.

However, Antonio Conte's side remains in contention for this year's FA Cup, having made it to the semi-final stage where Chelsea faces Southampton. It's a chance for Kante to win the competition after dropping the 2017 edition in a 2-1 loss against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium.

"We also have the FA Cup to play for - it is a good competition," Kante said. "Last season we failed in the final. It is the only trophy we can win this season, so we have to give everything to get to the final and win it."
