The 24-year-old Frenchman suffered the injury in the first half of his club's 3-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen. After an unsuccessful attempt to tackle forward Kevin Volland, Tolisso immediately pulled up in pain clutching his right knee and had to be helped off the field.

A member of France's World Cup winning side this summer in Russia, Tolisso joined Bayern in June 2017 after climbing through the ranks at Ligue 1 club Lyon. The reigning Bundesliga champions paid a reported initial fee of €40 million for Les Gones' touted youth product.
Tolisso's wasn't the only injury concern for the Bavarian giants, however.
Brazilian defender Rafinha also had to bow out due to an ankle injury. The 33-year-old was later confirmed to have suffered ligament damage, though his recovery timetable is currently measured in weeks.
