Lionel Messi may be the symbolic king of football, but the ever-humble Argentina star doesn't want his supposed subjects bowing at his feet.
Case in point; Messi urged a pitch invader to stand up and give him a hug after the man ran onto the field, kneeling before his hero, and bowed repeatedly.

Fittingly, the incident - which took place just as the second half kicked off - came after Messi's 31st-minute free-kick goal helped him surpass Gabriel Batistuta as Argentina's all-time top scorer.
