VIDEO: Wigan's Leon Barnett gives tutorial in catastrophic throw-ins

The downward spiral that is Wigan Athletic knows no bounds.

From an FA Cup Final victory in 2013, a subsequent place in Europa League, and a spell as Premier League darlings to mid-table obscurity two rungs below in League One and the futile efforts of Leon Barnett.

During Sunday's 2-2 draw away at Bury, Latics defender Barnett had a momentary lapse of balance, tumbling over the advertising boards to the delight of nearby fans.

Thankfully, Barnett was not injured despite the awkward fall, though his pride is lacking match fitness for Saturday's home match against Colchester.
