The amount of early season injuries to quarterbacks thus far has been staggering, but the Winnipeg Blue Bombers actually have some good news to report about their signal-caller.
Drew Willy returned to the practice field Monday after taking a vicious hit that forced him from last Thursday's loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The 28-year-old passed concussion tests and was working with the first-team offense Monday, leading head coach Mike O'Shea to believe he'll get the start Friday when Winnipeg hosts the Montreal Alouettes.
