Blue Bombers ink Sammy Brown

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed import linebacker Sammy Brown.

The 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker spent time with the NFL's St. Louis Rams and Miami Dolphins in 2013, dressing in only one game.

Brown played two seasons at the University of Houston, where he stockpiled 169 tackles - 50 of them for a loss. He also garnered a total of 21 sacks in the NCAA.
