Roughriders sign Canadian-born safety MacDougall to new deal

REGINA - The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Canadian safety Keenan MacDougall on Wednesday.
The six-foot-two, 219-pound MacDougall became a free agent at noon ET on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old native of Saskatoon native spent the last three seasons with the Calgary Stampeders, who selected MacDougall in the third round, 15th overall, of the 2012 Canadian draft.
MacDougall registered 30 special-teams tackles, eight defensive tackles and two fumble return TDs in 36 regular-season games with Calgary.
