The Montreal Alouettes locked down one of the Canadian Football League's premier receivers Wednesday, announcing a three-year contract extension with S.J. Green.
Green finished seventh in the league last season with 835 yards and four touchdowns on 53 receptions. He recorded three straight seasons of at least 1,000 yards receiving before being surpassed this summer by Duron Carter, who's expected to sign in the NFL.
