CALGARY - The Calgary Stampeders have signed all-star defensive back Jamar Wall to a contract extension.
The 27-year-old halfback from Lubbock, Tex., had a share of the CFL lead with six interceptions last season. He returned one pick for a touchdown Oct. 24 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Wall also recorded five pass knockdowns while starting all 18 regular season games.
He had four tackles in Calgary's Grey Cup victory and another four in the West Division final.
The Texas Tech product was named to the CFL's all-star team in his third season in Calgary.
