The Hamilton Tiger-Cats worked their way into field goal range on a second-quarter drive looking for their first points of the 102nd Grey Cup final, but the left hand of Calgary Stampeders defensive tackle Demonte' Bolden kept Hamilton off the scoreboard.

The Tiger-Cats were able to score some points on their next drive when quarterback Zach Collaros found Brandon Banks for a 45-yard touchdown. Calgary led 17-7 at halftime and would go on to win 20-16.
