Report: 10 NFL teams have 'legit interest' in Alouettes' Duron Carter
Just like his father, Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Cris Carter, Duron Carter is on the verge of getting a second chance in the NFL.
Carter, a receiver currently with the CFL's Montreal Alouettes, has reportedly netted interest from 10 teams in the NFL, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.
The speculation is that the Indianapolis Colts are the front-runners, as the team is looking for a player they think could make an impact.
NFL rules give Carter permission to start workouts and contract negotiations with clubs on Dec. 1, however, he won't be ablet to sign a formal contract until February.
Carter, 23, has 124 catches for 1939 yards and 12 touchdowns in two seasons with the Alouettes.
He went undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft and participated in Minnesota Vikings mini-camp, but didn't make the team.
