Montreal Alouettes retire Anthony Calvillo's No. 13
One of the greatest quarterbacks in CFL history was cemented as a legend by the Montreal Alouettes on Monday.
Prior to the Alouettes' tilt against the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, Calvillo had his No. 13 retired, the cherry on top of an illustrious career.

Calvillo began his CFL career in 1994 with the expansion U.S. experiment team, the Las Vegas Posse.
After the team folded a year later, Calvillo was drafted first overall by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the dispersal draft and spent three seasons there.
He joined the Alouettes in 1998 and led the franchise to Grey Cup wins in 2002, 2009, and 2010. He was named Grey Cup MVP in 2002.
On Monday, the team paid tribute to their former pivot in a very classy way.

In 2012, Calvillo became the first quarterback in CFL history to pass for more than 5,000 yards in a season seven times.
He also has 79,816 career passing yards - the most for any quarterback in professional football history, ahead of (in order) Damon Allen, Brett Favre and Warren Moon.
