CALGARY - Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell suffered a sprained left ankle and a stretched ligament in his knee.
He won't play next Sunday in Montreal.
Stampeders coach John Hufnagel says Mitchell's status is week to week. Drew Tate will get his first start of the season on Sunday.
Mitchell was tackled late in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 40-33 win over the Toronto Argonauts.
He was replaced by Tate with six minutes remaining in the game.
