Report: Eskimos drop Owens from negotiations list

The Edmonton Eskimos have reportedly dropped former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens from their negotiations list, according to TSN's Farhan Lalji.
Owens activated his 10-day clause Monday after the Eskimos added him to their negotiations list in June.
The 44-year-old recently claimed he isn't actively seeking opportunities to return to football, but believes he can still play at a high level if he did.
Owens hasn't played pro football since the 2010 NFL season, when he featured for the Cincinnati Bengals.
