The Montreal Alouettes announced Monday they've released quarterback Darian Durant.
Durant was due a $150,000 bonus on Tuesday if still on the roster, according to Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette.
The 35-year-old was acquired by the Alouettes last January, in a trade with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. A fourth-round draft pick in 2017 and a conditional pick in 2018 were sent to the Riders.
Durant racked up 3,233 yards with 15 touchdowns and 16 interceptions while starting 15 games this past season. He added 182 rushing yards and a score on the ground.
