Cut day: Young, Willy among notable releases as teams trim rosters to 46

With the regular season set to get underway Thursday night, CFL teams had until 10 p.m. ET on Saturday to trim their rosters to 46.

Vince Young was arguably the biggest name to be affected by the deadline, as the former NFL star was waived by the Saskatchewan Roughriders over a week after suffering a torn hamstring.

The Toronto Argonauts also parted with a notable quarterback of their own, announcing that Drew Willy was among the number of players to be released Saturday.

Here are some notable players from each team that were released on cut day in the CFL:
