Vince Young's debut with the Saskatchewan Roughriders is on hold.
The quarterback won't play in Saturday's preseason game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers because of a hamstring injury, head coach Chris Jones told the Regina Leader-Post.
Young left Tuesday's practice under his own power after a run, but the severity of the injury remains unclear.
Missing Saturday's game is significant for his chances at making the Roughriders' roster, as the 34-year-old is trying to make a comeback in Canada by cracking a solid quarterback depth chart in Saskatchewan.
