Stampeders the betting favorite to win 2017 Grey Cup
The Calgary Stampeders suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Ottawa RedBlacks in last season's Grey Cup, but oddsmakers have the club finishing the 2017 season in much more satisfying fashion.
The Westgate SuperBook released odds for the 2017 Grey Cup champion on Monday and the Stampeders lead the way at 3/1.
The West dominates the board as the BC Lions are next at 9/2 and the Edmonton Eskimos sitting third at 11/2 odds. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Ottawa RedBlacks are next, each sitting at 7/1.
Here's the full board with all nine CFL franchises:
Team | Opening Odds | Current Odds |
---|---|---|
Calgary Stampeders | 3/1 | 3/1 |
BC Lions | 9/2 | 9/2 |
Edmonton Eskimos | 11/2 | 11/2 |
Hamilton Tiger-Cats | 7/1 | 7/1 |
Ottawa RedBlacks | 7/1 | 7/1 |
Montreal Alouettes | 17/2 | 17/2 |
Winnipeg Blue Bombers | 17/2 | 17/2 |
Saskatchewan Roughriders | 12/1 | 12/1 |
Toronto Argonauts | 15/1 | 15/1 |
It appears that oddsmakers aren't buying much into Vince Young's potential impact on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, or the new leadership of the Toronto Argonauts, as the two clubs are listed at the bottom of the league at 12/1 and 15/1 respectively.
