The Edmonton Eskimos released receiver Derel Walker on Thursday, but it didn't take him long to find employment.

Walker was given his release to pursue NFL opportunities and inked a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It's a significant loss to Edmonton's passing attack, as Walker posted 109 receptions for 1,589 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. In 2015 he had 1,100 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
