Montreal Alouettes receiver S.J. Green is expected to miss several weeks with a lower leg injury sustained Thursday versus the Ottawa RedBlacks, the team announced Friday.
Green was placed on the six-game injured list, though he doesn't necessarily have to spend all six weeks on it.
Green left the Als' home opener game in the first half and didn't return. For the season, the 31-year-old has hauled in five receptions for 72 yards and one touchdown.
Montreal didn't reveal the specifics of Green's injury.
