Alouettes' Kevin Glenn hoping to play 3-4 more years
Kevin Glenn is hoping a full season with the Montreal Alouettes breathes new life into his career. The 36-year-old said Tuesday he thinks he'll play another three-to-four years, which would put him close to 40.
There are examples of CFL quarterbacks excelling late into their careers. Look no further than Henry Burris, who was an All-Star and guided the Ottawa RedBlacks to the Grey Cup last season at 40 years old.
Glenn came to the Alouettes at the trade deadline last year, and despite posting some decent numbers in three games, it wasn't enough to lead Montreal to the playoffs.
The pivot has had an excellent career since debuting with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2001, throwing for more than 46,000 yards and 255 touchdowns. If Glenn does indeed play another three-to-four campaigns, he'll have a chance to further add to an already impressive resume in what is likely to be a Hall of Fame career.
