VIDEO: Wolfsburg's Julian Draxler sees red for daft karate kick

Julian Draxler's trip to the Coface Arena was a short one, as Wolfsburg's blockbuster summer signing saw red in the 13th minute of Saturday's Bundesliga match between Die Wolfe and FSV Mainz.
Looking to start the counter-attack, Draxler chased teammate Vieirinha's chip, only to lunge blindly into Mainz midfielder Gonzalo Jara, sending the Chilean international to the pitch writhing in pain.
Ten-man Wolfsburg would only have to wait 18 minutes following Draxler's dismissal to surrender the opener to Pablo De Blasis. A loss coupled with results for Hertha Berlin and Schalke could see the Lower Saxon side drop out of the Champions League positions.
