VIDEO: Referee gets leveled during Bayern Munich-FC Koln match
Reuters
It's not easy work being a referee these days.
When not being publicly criticised for failing to be unreasonably perfect, they're unknowingly getting clobbered on the pitch.
During Saturday's match between Bayern Munich and FC Koln at the Allianz Arena, the official was on the wrong end of a standing tackle from Kevin Vogt, who momentarily stopped to observe the damages before carrying on.
If it's any consolation for the Bundesliga referee, he was able to carry on, unlike last week's unfortunate victim of a vicious confrontation from Hull City's Chuba Akpom.
