Borussia Dortmund's fan base is already regarded as one of Europe's most passionate. A supporter took matters a step further, placing an advert in the Liverpool Echo to credit the Merseyside lot for its epic Europa League come-from-behind victory.
Facing a near-impossible uphill battle, Liverpool scored four times in the second half of the Europa League quarter-final second leg at Anfield to secure both a place in the next round and a place in the pantheon of legendary continental performances.
The Reds will now face Villarreal in the semi-finals of Europe's second-tier competition, and at least one Dortmund supporter will be pulling for Jurgen Klopp's side.
