Vasiliy Lomachenko is coming out of retirement and targeting a return fight in the fall, sources told Mike Coppinger of Ring Magazine.
The Ukrainian boxer is reportedly not interested in a tune-up bout and is eyeing only a marquee fight.
Lomachenko is a free agent available to sign with any promotion after his deal with Top Rank expired Tuesday, Coppinger adds.
The 38-year-old initially announced the end of his boxing career in June 2025.
His most recent fight was a TKO victory over George Kambosos Jr. in May 2024.
Lomachenko won championships in three different weight classes (featherweight, junior lightweight, and lightweight) and is also a two-time Olympic gold medallist. He had a 396-1 amateur record and an 18-3 professional record.
