Report: Davis, Edwards to walk Mayweather to ring for Gotti fight
Team USA stars Anthony Davis and Anthony Edwards will reportedly be in Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s entourage for the boxing legend's rematch against John Gotti III.
Davis and Edwards, who are coming off a gold-medal win at the Paris Olympics, will walk Mayweather to the ring ahead of Saturday's fight in Mexico City, TMZ Sports reports.
Mayweather and Gotti previously squared off in an exhibition match in June 2023, which was ruled a no-contest in the sixth round after the boxers ignored warnings to stop trash talking. Gotti proceeded to charge at Mayweather and a massive brawl broke out in the ring.

Mayweather retired as a pro in 2017 with a 50-0 record but has continued to compete in exhibition matches.
Gotti, the grandson of infamous mob boss John Gotti, is 2-0 in his pro boxing career with one knockout.
