Oscar De La Hoya is eager to get back in the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The former world champion, who hasn't fought since a 2008 loss to Manny Pacquiao, told TMZ Sports he plans to call out Mayweather for a rematch for his next fight.

"I'll offer Floyd Mayweather $100 million," De La Hoya said. "Let's do it."

Mayweather won a split decision when the pair squared off in 2007. The bout was the most lucrative boxing match ever at the time, generating over $130 million.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe shot down the idea of a De La Hoya-Mayweather rematch in June, telling SportsMap Radio's "The Jake Asman Show" that "it will never happen."

De La Hoya was set to face MMA fighter Vitor Belfort in an exhibition match on Sept. 11, but he was forced to back out after testing positive for COVID-19. Triller CEO Ryan Kavanaugh said Monday that the promotion is in talks with De La Hoya about rescheduling the match for Thanksgiving weekend.

Mayweather last fought against YouTube star-turned-boxer Logan Paul in an exhibition match in June.
