WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo will put his title on the line against Sergiy Derevyanchenko on Sept. 26, SHOWTIME Boxing announced Wednesday.
Charlo (30-0, 22 KOs) hasn't fought since defeating Dennis Hogan via a technical knockout in December 2019, while Derevyanchenko's (13-2, 10 KOs) last bout was a loss by unanimous decision against Gennady Golovkin in October. The Ukrainian challenger has lost two of his last three fights.
The contest will be the co-main event along with a fight between junior middleweight titleholders Jermell Charlo, who is Jermall's twin brother, and Jeison Rosario.
