Junior middleweight titleholders Jermell Charlo and Jeison Rosario agreed to terms for a unification fight in September, according to Mike Coppinger of The Athletic.
The fight will take place Sept. 26, SHOWTIME Boxing announced Wednesday.
Charlo reclaimed the WBC junior middleweight belt in December by knocking out Tony Harrison. Rosario, meanwhile, has held the IBF and WBA (super) titles at 154 pounds since January.
Charlo owns a career 33-1 record as a professional, with 17 of his wins coming via knockout. Rosario, who upset Julian Williams to claim his two belts, sports a 20-1-1 record with 14 KOs.
Charlo will be fighting on the same day as his twin brother, Jermall, who will defend his WBC middleweight title against Sergiy Derevyanchenko.
