Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe spent Saturday auctioning off more than 200 of his possessions, including a bunch of sports-related items acquired during his nine-year marriage to Danielle Spencer.
Crowe told an Australian morning television show, per Bloomberg, that the auction - dubbed "The Art of Divorce" - was a way to "turn something that was a little bit bleak into something joyful." It also earned him $3.7 million in just five hours.
Among the more odd items up for grabs was a Muhammad Ali plaster face cast that sold for $2,318.

There were also several costume pieces from the 2005 film "Cinderella Man," which starred Crowe as former world heavyweight champion James J. Braddock:
Blue satin robe worn by Crowe (sold for $24,400)

Leather jockstrap worn by Crowe (sold for $8,540)

Boxing glove signed by Crowe, Ron Howard, and Renee Zellweger (sold for $7,930)
