A pair of elite European-born athletes converged in New York on Thursday night.
New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist made an appearance at the US Open, taking in Roger Federer's straight-sets victory over Steve Darcis.

Lundqvist is no stranger to the Open, attending multiple times as a spectator in the last few years.
Having incorporated soccer skills into his goaltending techniques in the past, we can only wonder if tennis moves are next.
