Wimbledon odds: Who's favored for the men's, women's tournaments?
The main draws of Wimbledon are set to begin June 30 at the All England Club in London, where back-to-back champion Carlos Alcaraz and 2024 winner Barbora Krejcikova hope to defend their grass-court crowns.
Let's see who's favored for the 2025 edition.
Women's odds
Player | Odds |
---|---|
Aryna Sabalenka | +240 |
Coco Gauff | +550 |
Elena Rybakina | +550 |
Iga Swiatek | +850 |
Mirra Andreeva | +1000 |
Madison Keys | +1400 |
Marketa Vondrousova | +1400 |
Qinwen Zheng | +1800 |
Jessica Pegula | +2200 |
Jasmine Paolini | +2500 |
Amanda Anisimova | +2800 |
Elina Svitolina | +3300 |
Jelena Ostapenko | +3300 |
Ons Jabeur | +3300 |
Barbora Krejcikova | +4000 |
Emma Raducanu | +4000 |
Karolina Muchova | +4000 |
Naomi Osaka | +4000 |
Paula Badosa | +4000 |
On theScore Bet/ESPN Bet, Aryna Sabalenka is the favorite at +240 despite never having won a Wimbledon title. In fact, the 27-year-old Belarusian has never reached a Wimbledon final in her five appearances (she didn't play in 2024 or 2022).
However, Sabalenka is No. 1 in the world, even after losses in the semis of her most recent grass-court tuneup event in Berlin and the French Open final to Coco Gauff. She's as consistent as they come on the women's circuit and will be shorter than even money to reach the final when those odds come out.
Gauff has never reached the quarterfinals at the All England Club in five appearances, but she'll enter this year's tournament with more confidence thanks to her French Open title.
Elena Rybakina is also +550 but is propped up by her 2022 Wimbledon victory. She won a clay-court tournament in May but didn't reach the semis in her three most recent events.
Iga Swiatek rounds out the women priced under +1000. The former World No. 1 has struggled on grass throughout her career. She's only reached the quarterfinals once in five tries.
Given the lack of Wimbledon success among the favorites on the women's side, it's safe to say it's a completely wide-open tournament.
Men's odds
Player | Odds |
---|---|
Carlos Alcaraz | +140 |
Jannik Sinner | +170 |
Novak Djokovic | +550 |
Jack Draper | +1200 |
Alexander Zverev | +2500 |
Alexander Bublik | +2800 |
Daniil Medvedev | +3300 |
Taylor Fritz | +3300 |
Jakub Mensik | +4000 |
Alex de Minaur | +5000 |
Ben Shelton | +5000 |
Jiri Lehecka | +5000 |
Lorenzo Musetti | +5000 |
Top seeds Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner appear destined to meet in the Wimbledon final, hopefully crafting an encore to their epic duel from the French Open. Alcaraz is the slight favorite, but both are considerably ahead of Novak Djokovic.
Either Alcaraz or Sinner has won seven of the past eight Grand Slam titles, and if you add Djokovic, that trio has claimed the last 12. It's difficult to imagine a winner coming from outside the top three, and that group garners 94.1% of the implied win probability as a result.
Sinner has yet to reach a Wimbledon final; he got knocked out by Djokovic twice (2022, 2023) and Daniil Medvedev last year in the quarterfinals. However, the Italian has taken his game to a different level since last year's Wimbledon. He won the U.S. Open and Australian Open, and he had three championship points against Alcaraz at the French Open.
The only player standing in the way of an Alcaraz-Sinner final is Djokovic, the winningest Grand Slam champion ever. Even at age 38, the Serbian is a contender despite having only two ATP victories (both on clay) since 2023.
