Serena flawless against Keys, will face sister Venus in quarters
After grinding out a comeback three-set win in the third round against Bethanie Mattek-Sands on Friday, Serena Williams had no interest in staying on the court for too long on Sunday.
The No. 1 seed played a near perfect match, taking down rising American star No. 19 Madison Keys in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. Williams was dominant on serve with six aces and zero double faults, while not giving Keys a single break-point opportunity in the match.
The win leaves Serena just three matches away from her fifth consecutive major title and a calendar Grand Slam for 2015.

The pair held through the first seven games of the opening set. Then down 15-30, Keys double-faulted twice in a row to gift wrap a break for Williams who went up 5-3 and held once again to take a one-set lead 27 minutes in.
The second set played to a similar narrative with both Americans holding through six games before Keys went up 40-15 with the set tied at three games apiece. The 20-year-old lost the next four points with a double-fault and three errors to give Williams another break.
The 21-time major champion cruised from there, clinching the match after Keys double-faulted for the sixth time for her match.
Williams will now approach the most anticipated match of her tournament facing sister Venus in the quarterfinals.
"I'm really happy for her," Serena said of Venus after she won her Round of 16 match against Anett Kontaveit. "I always want her to win, so it's just awesome."
Williams on her next opponent in the quarterfinals: "I'm playing the best player in the tournament." That was Serena who said it.

In her post-match interview, Serena summed up the rivalry with her sister quite simply.
"The only difference is we’re a lot older," she said.
The quarterfinal match will take place Tuesday.
