The diminutive playmaker was already on a yellow card when he took a wild swing at Darren Fletcher, putting his team on the back foot for the rest of the match. Luckily for United, Mata will serve his suspension during Sunday's FA Cup tie with Liverpool, allowing him to play in their next Premier League match, which comes March 20 in the Manchester derby.
