Gueye was pulled at half-time in favor of Enner Valencia to give Everton another attacking presence, and it worked out well as they went on to score thrice in the final 45. Despite the tactical change, Gueye, who still leads the Premier League in tackles, is fully expected to be back in the starting XI next week against West Ham.
