Everton's Phil Jagielka: Scores in third consecutive game
Jagielka scored on his only shot attempt and finished with two tackles won, four interceptions, one blocked shot and 14 clearances during Everton's 3-1 win over Burnley on Saturday.
Analysis:
Jagielka has now found the back of the net in three consecutive Premier League matches, though it's obviously an unsustainable rate, especially for a centre-back. After being stuck behind Ramiro Funes Mori on the depth chart for partnering with Ashley Williams, Jagielka has taken advantage of his consistent playing time and his spot in the lineup appears quite secure. Up next is an away match to West Ham.
