Liverpool's Simon Mignolet: Perseveres for Sunday victory over Arsenal
Mignolet allowed three goals and made a pair of saves during Sunday's 4-3 victory over Arsenal.
Analysis:
It might look unconvincing at first glance, but Mignolet did stop Theo Walcott from the penalty spot in the first half, and was able to hang on as his side secured three big away points to kick off the campaign. Mignolet admittedly wasn't at his best last season, but with an improved side in front of him this time around, he will have the opportunity to return to his best form. He will face a more favorable matchup Saturday versus newly-promoted Burnley.
