Jason Dufner withdraws from Deutsche Bank Championship, will not play again this season

Jason Dufner withdrew from the Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday, the second event of the FedEx Cup playoffs, due to bulging discs in his neck. He is done for the season.
Dufner slid out of contention for the U.S. Ryder Cup team, giving way to Phil Mickelson after withdrawing from the PGA Championship.
In 17 events this season, Dufner placed in the top 10 four times, collecting 798 FedEx Cup points.
