Henrik Stenson is keeping a level head in advance of Sunday's final round at the 145th Open Championship.

"The sun will come up Monday anyway," Stenson said, according to Jason Sobel of ESPN. Aware of his surroundings, he added, "Maybe not in Scotland, but in other parts of the world."

Stenson, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, holds a one-shot lead over Phil Mickelson following Saturday's action at Royal Troon, and is looking for his first major championship title.

His best finish in a major was at The Open at Muirfield in 2013, where he finished in second place, three shots behind Mickelson.

Stenson and Mickelson are set to tee off at 9:35 am EST on Sunday.
