Facing Novak Djokovic is a daunting task for anybody on their best day, but Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro faced a unique challenge just hours before taking on the world's top-ranked player at Rio 2016.
Early Sunday morning, del Potro was trapped in an elevator at the Olympic village for 40 minutes before being rescued by the Argentine handball team.

While Djokovic holds an 11-3 career advantage over del Potro, the Argentine bested him for the bronze medal at the London Games in 2012.
Hopefully for del Potro's camp, his time on the court goes better than his commute to the venue.
