Jonathan Huberdeau (upper body) could return to the lineup Thursday against the Avalanche or Saturday against the Coyotes

Huberdeau (upper body) could return to the lineup Thursday against the Avalanche or Saturday against the Coyotes, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

On injured reserve since Feb. 25 because of the upper-body issue, Huberdeau finally appears o be nearing a return to the lineup. He's been impressive again offensively this season, accumulating 40 points (11 goals, 29 assists) over 59 games and providing 134 shots on goal in that frame. The 22-year-old winger also averages a career-high 18:19 of ice time, including 2:43 on the power play, and he should retake a role in the top-six upon rejoining the lineup.
